The National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, organised by Kapitol Promotions Ltd. is the country’s principal national brass band competition, bringing together leading ensembles from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and forming the bedrock of competitive "banding" in the UK.
Known as The Nationals, the Championships represent the highest level of competitive brass band performance in the United Kingdom and have been held in their current format since 1945. The annual ten-event series comprises eight regional heats (spring) & two National Finals weekends (autumn), with approximately 500 bands taking part every year!
We are delighted that HRH King Charles III continues to be the Patron of the Championships.

The annual Nationals series is formed of ten events - eight regional, two national. Find out when the next events are below!
